Raymy 32 Handbook - Chapter 01 : AY-Roots
French version - Table of Contents - Dedicated Library
par David Sicé
What follows will give you the basis of the Raymy language. The Raymy language is a constructed language in which words are defined by the signs that composed them – verbally, the syllables.
Its main property is an extremely short learning curve, by massive vocabulary acquisition. For example, A1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference For Languages is obtained in one hour of discovery. C1 level and above can be obtained in a week.
***01***
Any syllable beginning with the AY sound (« ay » from « ray ») is a root.
Roots are more or less substantives.

JAYN (« jayne »): An individual, a body.
WAYN (« wayne »): A piece of clothing.
KAYN or GAYN : An object, a piece of equipment.
***

DAYN or TAYN: A house, a building, a construction.
VAYN or FAYN: An animal, a living or animated thing.
BAYN or PAYN: Food or drink.
***

SHAYN or HAYN: Weather, a mood, speeds.
LAYN: An occupation, a rank, a profession.
RAYN: A language, a story, a letter, a speech.
***

SAYN or ZAYN: A land, a landscape, a time in the day.
MAYN: An emotion, a feeling, a health state.
NAYN: A material, a way to bind things together.
***

***02***
Only one root is a subject (“it is a…”) and constitutes a complete sentence.
VAYN: It is an animal – it is my pet.
MAYN: It is a feeling – it is my feeling.
***03***
Two different consecutive roots come as the voluntary origin (“from which comes”) followed by the voluntary recipient (“which is welcomed by”).
SAYN JAYN: An individual that comes from a land – A national of a country.
JAYN SAYN: An individual that arrives in a land – An alien individual.
***04***
Two identical consecutive roots evoke the very same thing.
JAYN JAYN: From an individual to himself - From on to oneself - One's own business.
***05***
Three consecutive roots come as the voluntary origin of the object, the object itself and the voluntary recipient of the object.
JAYN BAYN VAYN: An individual has got some food that goes to an animal.
***

***06***
Beyond three consecutive AY-roots, a new cycle begins in which the third AY-Root of the first cycle is the first of the new cycle.
JAYBAY KAYN :
An individual has got some food that goes to an animal that has got an object.
JEIBEIKEI NEIN :
An individual has got some food that goes to an animal that has got an object that goes to a material.
JEIBEIKEI NEISEIN :
An individual has got some food that goes to an animal that has got an object that goes to a material, that has got a land.
***07***
To describe other ways consecutive AY-roots can be related, other words like EU-ties will be inserted between the AY-roots.
JAY JEU VAYN: An individual who is also an animal.
JAY WEU VAYN: An individual who is around an animal.
SAY BEU DAYN: A house in a land.
***08***
The final N of a root can disappear when followed by another root.
JAYBAYN or JAYN BAYN:
The food that comes from an individual – the food brought by or cooked by an individual.
BAYJAYN or BAYN JAYN:
The food given to an individual – A food ration for an individual.
***09***
The Final N of a root can be stressed by stretching the last vowel of the root. That allows the ending to be more audible.
JAY AYN (« Jay-ayne »).
***10***
A root can evoke one or several objects of the same kind. It can evoke people, animal or things of any gender.
JAY AYN: A man or a woman – men or women.
